Government begins selling Tanzanite

Government has initiated the process to sell mining of tanzanite for auction to control theft and abduction of these nutrients and increase GDP. The order of the auction was announced by the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy and Mines, Professor James Mdoe, when the first auction of the metal held at the mining office in the northern zone in the region. 

According to Mdoe, tanzanite auction will manage large-scale abduction of minerals go abroad for big businessmen will have an opportunity to stop buying these metals by means of a mouse. At the same auction, the biggest buyers of tanzanite 37 shared by five companies participated in the auction between the metal which undermine women's 180 in the area of ​​Mirerani. 

Mdoe cited miners who participated in the auction is Tanzanite One / Stamico, Tanzanite Africa / J. S Magezi, Harpoon, Lian Laizer and partiners and Franone mninga and Gems. In the same auction Ofana, the Company succeeded in selling TanzaniteOne 293,173.17 grams and get Sh 7.3 billion where the government received royalties Sh 367.4 million. Franone Company sold 24,860 grams which received more than Sh 235 million while the company's Harpoon, Laizer and Friends and Tanzanite Africa minerals eliminated him in the auction due to lack of access to price buyers they were needed.

 Mdoe said the auction will enable miners to meet international traders and increase the price of tanzanite which dropped from the abduction of minerals which are sold by the thieves for dumping prices. Manyara Regional Commissioner, Joel Bendera assured security and urging miners to make their extraction work without worry. Moreover urged miners emerge in abundance in auctions that will continue to meet with big business tanzanite from inside and outside the country.
